A Persian Kitten

Hey readers! This is JJ Inspired here. So, ever since a few months ago, I wanted to get a kitty. After looking at a few different options I chose the cutest little Persian kitten. I was able to pick her up this past Saturday, I was finally able to hold her and bring her home. She is a "neapolitan" colored, Persian kitten. I say "neapolitan" because she has a white base coat, a black and brown mixed tail, a light pink ear and little nose, and black fur on the top of her head and the lower part of her ear. As names came to me, I would write them down and eliminate them as I lost interest. While on the way to pick her up I decided what I wanted to name her. Below are a list of sources I used when finding things for her.

Pinterest - one of the most useful sources that I use to find recipes, tips, tricks, and other supplies for my kitty is Pinterest. All I have to do is search what I'm looking for and Pin what I want to one of my boards ("My New Kitty")

Anthropologie - this store has to have some of the most elegant and beautiful tea cups, bowls, and plates. So, when it was time to pick out bowls for my kitten's food and water, I went straight to the Anthropologie website to pick out two bowls that were perfect for her. (anthropologie.com)

Front Gate - though I haven't actually ordered anything for my kitty off of this website yet, I think I'm going to wait a little bit longer to buy her toys, treats, and a scratching post. Front Gate also sells beds that are really cute, so go to frontgate.com and see for yourself (Front Gate also sells items for dogs as well).

Created By Diane - (Using Pinterest) I found a recipe for a no bake cake for dogs or cats on this website (createdby-diane.com). Keep scrolling and you'll find a way to turn your batter into a cake pop for dogs or cats.

"6 Things Your Cat Should Never Eat...and some healthy alternatives!"- This article is something I found on Pinterest is a great tool. Read this so you can learn about things that you should never feed or let your cat eat, plus there are some healthy alternatives so you know what to give your cat. (here is the article)

Photography Ideas - Go to Pinterest, find me, JJ Inspired, and look at the board I created-My New Kitty-to find really cute, fun, and exciting photos. Pin, like, and comment!

Name - When I was looking for the perfect name for my Persian, I basically wrote down each name I thought up on a piece of paper, since I have a love for Paris, I researched some words in French and decided if I liked them or not. Cookie, playful, and spirited were a few words that I searched-using Google Translator. I found a decent amount of names that I liked-biscuit, macaron, bonbon, petite, and rose were my top names. That Saturday morning when I first held her, I had a mix of emotions-excitement, nervousness, and cuteness overtook my body at when I first held her and I new that the name I chose was perfect!

Quick Tip: The first two days, while she was adjusting, I noticed that there were a few times when she tried to crawl into small spaces and sometimes crawled behind the toilet and in the closet. Make sure to cover small spaces that you don't want your kitten to crawl into!
